Labor Day Weekend? Not One of those Ironic Names

I had a lovely three day weekend home with the fam. My sister was home from college, so it was a full house with everyone running around doing a million things. I also had a bunch of projects saved up for when I was home with Dad and all his tools.
Things I did this Labor Day weekend:
All in all, a pretty labor-intensive weekend, but it was pretty fun, too.

Things I did this Labor Day weekend:
- Fixed two monitors I dumpster-dived from work (with some parts from Radio Shack and a lot of help from Dad).
- Turned an old sewing machine table from Goodwill into a night stand (with some scrap wood, a can of stain, and again a lot of help from Dad). Also, I dropped it on my foot trying to lift it onto a saw horse and was 50% sure I broke my foot for a while.
- Turned an old laptop DVD drive into an external USB drive (again with Dad).
- Fixed the computer of a friend of a friend (and made $60!). Thanks Vista for sucking so bad that people have to turn to me after buying a brand new computer.
- Saw District 9. Good movie. It was both exciting and thought-provoking. Plus I love me some zappy alien gun explosions. :)
- Played Wii Resort till my entire right side ached. But I pwned at table tennis.
All in all, a pretty labor-intensive weekend, but it was pretty fun, too.
