Win Rar!

Well, I typed the words “The End” just now. It’s finally done! There are parts that should be fleshed out and parts that should be cut back or reworked, but it’s done. And it came out pretty well, if I do say so myself. And this way I can take the next week off to prepare for T-Day. Yay!

Writing Progress:
Title: The Goddess of Willowbrook
Words: 68,900 (I may go back and write 100 words cause I’m OCD like that)
Progress Today: 5,200 of 2,000

So I stayed up till 1 am last night (this morning?) because I got on a roll outlining. I decided divine intervention is how my character’s problems will be solved. That and a love potion.

So my new goal is to finish the novel by the end of November, which oddly enough has me writing more a day than when I was just working to hit 50,000 words. I’ve very proud of me, though. I trained hard and I pushed hard to win NaNo WriMo this year.

So, here’s my writing progress for today. It’ll probably be slightly less from here on out, since I actually have stuff to do at work again. *Sigh*

Writing Progress:
Title: The Goddess of Willowbrook
Words: 55,470 of 65,000(ish?)
Progress Today: 4,320 of 2,000

Hey, so, if you take a little look at my NaNo WriMo progress bar (under In Progress), you’ll see that I hit 50k today. So, yay! Except I’m only about 2/3rds done. If that. And I’m stuck on how how to surmount this insurmountable challenge I set in front of my characters. So, damn….

But I’ll keep working at it. My new goal is to finish this novel by Nov. 31st, no matter how many words it takes. Unless it’s over 100,000. Then I just quit.

Also, I’d like to note that work has been SLOW this month, which is how I could accomplish this magical feat.

Anyway, progress box:

Writing Progress:
Title: The Goddess of Willowbrook
Words: 50,455 (or 50,387 if you believe the NaNo counting bots)
Progress Today: 3,560 of 2,000

I just saw this on a post over at Jezebel. It’s Keith Olbermann, whose name I only vaguely recognize and whom I have never watched, but he’s apparently a news anchor for MSNBC. He can also apparently distill my thoughts on “protecting the sanctity of marriage” into one eloquent, heartfelt speech that nearly made me cry at work.

That is all.
